My office timings are 11 am-8.30 pm. As of now, I come at 11 and leave early in 5.30 cab, and log in back after reaching home. Friday, I left and... I just did not login back! I so much wanted to be with my daughter...
Every now and then I feel guilty. If I take WFH and be with her, I feel I am not giving cent percent at work. If I come to office, then I feel my daughter needs me more :(
Anyways, I had a wonderful weekend. My hubby came back from US and was happy to see his daughter greet her. Shall I say, she missed him...?
She daily develops a new skill to amuse us all. Sometimes she coos, sometimes will make faces, sometimes will wave her hands, and we all enjoy watching her.
Saturday, I took her to have a couple of vaccinations. Doctor asked him giving oral drops "Tell me the taste baby, tell me how much you like it". And she was relishing every drop! Then he asked her to be brave and made me hold a torch. And guess what, she was so lost in watching light, that she even did not get to know when the process of injecting got over!
But sometimes, she scare us. Yesterday night we went to a wedding, and this was her first official outing (apart from regular doctor visits). She was so excited to see the lights and colours. We came back and I changed our clothes. And suddenly she started puking. For 4-5 minutes, she was not able to breathe. I was so scared that I called up my in laws and hurried her to their room. My mom-in-law asked me to have faith in God.
She again puked, but once everything in her lil stomach was out, she was relieved. She laid her in bed and the next moment what we see... She- with a new naughty smile, sucking her lower lip and making noises! I was smiling at her with my teary eyes. She was again the same lovely angel, as if nothing at all happend to her!
